The room was much bigger than expected with chair and table as well as a desk with chair. I had a lovely big window, which opened and looked out over the rear carpark so was very quiet. The staff were excellent - very friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking also.

The setting is lovely, with a sizeable and interesting pub garden to sit in with your drinks. The room was fine, motel-style but all we needed. We ate in the pub restaurant twice and the food was fine, what you would expect. Parking was very easy.

the decor and style of the hotel looked grand. luxurious fabrics and finishes, but upon closer inspection it all failed to impress. many areas were distressed, in need of repair.
