This hotel is a little gem. The location is amazing and the views from both our room and the dining room are simply stunning. I've seen a couple of negative reviews of this hotel and in particular the food and quite frankly I don't understand the negative comments. Food is exceptionally good and the only criticism I could make would be the portions are very generous. The staff are great and make you feel very welcome. Its a great, small , friendly, family run hotel.

Frongaer Bed And Breakfast, hotel in Gwredog

Located in Llanerchymedd, in a historic building, 43 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway, Frongaer Bed And Breakfast is a bed and breakfast with a garden and shared lounge.

Pauline and Mal were lovely, very welcoming (and the dogs) . The room is very spacious and clean, 3 windows with fabulous views. The breakfast was brilliant, we had full English for 3 days and it was filling and delicious and well cooked. Breakfast in the conservatory watching pheasants and a woodpecker while eating and chatting. Pauline and Mal very willing to assist with anything to make your stay enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and stay again if in the area.

Very friendly and professional staff. The bedroom was furnished to a high standard and very clean. A very comfortable Super King Size Bed, TV, Bottle fridge, Large array of hot drinks, biscuits bottled water and cordials replenished each day. Spotless bathroom and an excellent shower. Lovely pub atmosphere for the evening with an excellent Dinner Menu. Breakfast was plentiful with again, an excellent range of both continental and freshly cooked food.

Couldn’t get a meal in the pub restaurant on the second night fully booked so didn’t have dinner that evening.😞 so book early to avoid disappointment. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable, good choice for breakfast. 👍

Welcoming, friendly place, very good base to explore island...

Welcoming, friendly place, very good base to explore island as central, you need a car to get about, as a bit remote. We visited Beaumaris, Holyhead, South Stack, Coast path, Parys Coppermine. Excellent huge cooked breakfasts, good value pub meals with veggie options. Liked the fresh milk in the little fridge in room for making tea or coffee. Caters for doggie guests too. Good value b&b pub, not "grand" or "gastro" but most people will find it caters for them just fine.
