It was such a privilege to stay here. Ben etc are doing such a wonderful job of restoring the Hall to its former glory and it’s going to be incredible when they’ve finished. We’ll definitely be back to see the progress!

It's less relevant to describe Guilsfield than the surrounding area, as it is the surrounding area that, I imagine, most people would visit. Ideas for things to do might include a walk along the Montgomery canal, a visit to Lake Vyrnwy - and popping into Derwen garden centre and farm shop. Welshpool is a good sized town and contains Powis Castle and one end of The Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway.

Whilst on the edge of the village it was easy to access the facilities. Also close to Welshpool, Oswestry & New town. Great to visit Powis Castle. If you are a gardener, great Garden Centre to visit with café there.
