Our parents live in Harpley but there’s now there’s a grandchild we cannot all stay comfortably so we thought we’d stay here the night and it was lovely! We’ll definitely be doing it again when that situation occurs! Breakfast was exceptional, if I had one tiny critique, the shower valve in our room was knackered so the water didn’t couldn’t get overly warm when using the rain head. An easy fix for a plumber! Other than that really enjoyable.

On approach a delightful old pub at the roadside with appropriate roses growing up the walls!
It was all I had hoped for - lovely room (with a bath!), good food, pleasant friendly staff and easy parking.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean. We appreciated the option of fresh coffee in our room & being able to access fresh milk.

As we were visiting Sandringham the location was perfect. It was literally a two minute drive to either of the two main car parks near Sandringham House. Gwen provided us with an excellent full English breakfast on both mornings and our room
was exactly as described on the website. We were on the first floor at the front of the house in a bedroom with both a double and a single bed. Our private bathroom was across the landing and dressing gowns were provided to protect our modesty. The property has a narrow driveway at the side for off-road parking for visitors. Around a 100 yards away is the Feathers Hotel which we visited twice for evening meals. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble for Gwen (and her very friendly dog) and we would happily recommend this property to anyone looking to stay near Sandringham or the surrounding area. Thank you Gwen and we hope to visit you again in the future.
For all you runners there is a well attended park run every Saturday morning that starts near the kids play area near the car parks. A nice way to start the day !
Offering tasty breakfasts and free Wi-Fi, this luxury B&B has boutique rooms with scenic views across the North Norfolk coastline.

The location is amazing. It’s like a little slice of paradise, probably the most peaceful place I’ve ever stayed. Me and my partner couldn’t get over the views, unbelievably happy with our stay.

Our room no.11 unused on leaving at 9.00 p.m. spent less than 3 hours in the room therefore: no breakfast no privacy you charged us £140.00 our disabled son could not use his room 2 at all and was forced to sit on a bench in our room 11- thus decreasing the amenity of that room also.

Lovely north Norfolk village.
Lovely north Norfolk village. It would be greatly enhanced by having a pub or a hotel bar that opened reliably. Lovely shop/coffee shop when it is open. Need a car as not enough in the village to fully occupy a holiday.

We walked round Great Bircham and found a very pretty spot with benches round a duck pond. There is also a shop / cafe in the village. We traveled out to Brancaster and enjoyed some time at the staithe watching people boating. Here you can buy fresh shell fish and enjoy an ice cream.

It's just a pretty little village - nothing there apart from the hotel and a good shop. It's a good base for touring the locality.
The windmill was a disappointment - kids may enjoy it, but not much interest for 2 adults.
Stayed over for the Heritage Live concerts. Amazing staff with great communication before and a warm welcome on arrival. Spacious hotel area with excellent bar including large outdoor area.
Beautiful location near Norfolk coastline. You have to check the local area, including Bircham Windmill in walking distance. Every pulley, cog, belt and mill stone still in place and incredibly well preserved and presented.
Hearty breakfast made to order and back in car with easy car park to rear. Super stay, thank you :-)
Generally good. Few niggles e.g double room but only one chair. Would have welcomed some bottled water. Superior room but I would rate it standard compared to other hotels we stay at. Most staff very friendly but reception staff need a bit more customer training. Just had breakfast and that was fine
Food is excellent - both dinner and breakfast
Room size give a sense of quality to the hotel
Nicely proportioned- Lots of room around bed, no issue for space in bathroom
Nice outside space
Friendly staff
Super breakfast, excellent service, friendly, courteous & relaxed. The breakfast menu is extensive & imaginative. All beautifully presented and carefully cooked. One of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had.
