Their expertise in hospitality really shines through and they make the grace and luxury of their charming B&B seem effortless. Up the road there is a modern distillery where you can sample some new developments in the world of whiskey, and a little further on is the studio and small gallery of a talented local artist. The local people we met during our stay were lovely, we stopped to have a chat to everyone we met and were made to feel welcome in the community for the duration of our stay. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with good food, nice people, and plenty of natural scenery, look no further.

I loved the colour of the outside of the house on arrival! It was pink and looked like a Barbie dream house and made me excited to enter. When we entered, we were greeted by a really lovely woman who gave us all the information we needed and showed us to our room. The room was perfect; a nice girly theme. I wanted that to be my room forever! Everything in the room worked awesomely. The shampoo and conditioner smelt great, the hair dryer worked well and there was lots of mirrors, which is always a bonus! The woman of the house went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Beautiful breakfast served. The location was ideally situated.

Despite being fortunate enough to be offered an upgrade on my room, the new room was not strictly a double. It ought to have been a single, then a wardrobe and a chair would have fitted. It seemed odd to hang my clothes in a window, and have nowhere comfortable to sit to watch tv in the evening. Also the bathroom did not function very efficiently. The 'baby's bath' hand basin is impossible to use as one can get no usable depth of water, then you knock yourself out on the tap device sticking right out. I have no idea how that design ever went into production! As for the shower I needed a hand book to get water to run, mix a correct temperature and went down to reception, just in my robe, to get someone to turn it off!! There seemed to be some lights above the handbasin, but I failed to find anything that would turn them on. Going to the toilet in the night I nearly died of shock when my bare feet hit the floor tiles - I'd never experienced anything so COLD! Thank goodness breakfast was as good as I remembered. However, as the property changed hands during my stay, I would have appreciated hearing that news before I went, rather than hearing it from one of my guides. The staff were all very efficient and kind.

Everything about the place was lovely! The location in front of the water was dreamy and you are able to use some tables and chairs to have the aperitive or dinner/lunch outside with a fantastic view! Everything in the inside was well organized with some available spaces to rest and spend time together. I would definitely go back! And food is qualitative!
