Excellent location for visiting Loch Lomond. Accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. We ate in the pub restaurant in the evening... lovely staff and enjoyed our meals. Would recommend.
Just 5 minutes from Loch Lomond, The Buchanan Arms Hotel & Leisure Club offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. With a whisky bar, stylish rooms and a restaurant, there is also a leisure club.

A gorgeous home with brilliant views, remote in the Glaswegian countryside. Only 15 minutes from Glasgow and Loch Lomond by car. Great facilities for cooking and relaxing in the property. Hosts are super friendly and approachable if you require any help or forgotten items.

This property is not in gartocharn and comes under Crofthamie , near Drymen. Run down cottage, bedrooms lovely and bathrooms and kitchen in need of an upgrade. Guest charges £400 cash for cleaning, towels and hot tub hire with no receipt and then takes £300 deposit. Electric heaters in every room, windows locked, patio doors locked with no key. Guest lies about damages and refuses deposit back, we did damage a little bit of paint from cellotape putting a banner up and he asks for £200 to cover this and damage to a dining table and worktop that were not our doing. £50 to replace a pillow slip which had blood from a nose bleed and £80 to clean carpet from a nose bleed spot, another £80 to replace the small paint mark from the wall. I offered to have the paint fixed by a decorator and he declined . We eventually settled at £150 but this put a damper to our stay. We left the house immaculate and even hoovered and stacked the dishwasher and cleaned out the fridge. Very disappointed and take photos and video evidence if staying here and a tick list of damages. Ensure windows can open and that central heating works. Guest wasnt very forthcoming about the swimming pool area and we were advised to link with other guests within the larger house. This worked well as we used the pool separate but do ask. Never again will we return and I paid to get the hassle away.
