We were moved to the Old Inn because of maintenance issues. The Inn was very nice. They had a variety of both hot and cold items for breakfast. Dinner in the pub downstairs was very good. We discovered a walk next to the Inn to a waterfall which was quite nice.

From the heady scent of fresh lilies in the entryway, to all the artwork on the walls to the matching copper coat hangers and wall sconces, every bit of our stay was a delight to all our senses. If that weren't enough, our host-cooked breakfast was equally enchanting. One of our top guest house experiences ever.

I had been out on the hills in Torridon and due to poor weather on the hills I arrived about 2 hours after the time I had previously indicated on my booking. When I checked in I said that I assumed that I was too late for dinner and was told that the chef could do me a meat and cheese platter in the bar. The meal was excellent.
At check in I explained that I needed to leave as soon as soon as possible after breakfast. At breakfast it was the same lady that had been at reception the previous evening and she did an excellent job in providing my breakfast as quickly as possible.
The location is stunning and I will return again for a family visit.

We had a spacious room with a large window overlooking the sea. We could open windows to let in fresh air. The full breakfast served was very good. We were able to have dinner in the restaurant also.

Corriness house was a lovely house with a beautiful garden conveniently located in Poolewe. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable and cozy. The bath was wonderful especially to get warm after traipsing around in the colder weather. Breakfast was excellent, abundant and made to order. The host was very helpful. He directed us to an excellent place to walk, booked our reservation for us for dinner, and told us of some wonderful places to go on our drive the next day. We enjoyed staying in Corrinness house and would recommend it to others.

The owners were very friendly and offered great insights on what to do in the area. The view out in front of the ocean was beautiful. good breakfast! Loved going to the Tuesday craft market in town. Bought some beautiful treasures to bring back home from the artist there.

Great place with spectacular, inspiring scenery, a nice little town with good facilities, nice cafe and farm shop as well as an excellent museum. The only downside when we visited was the local chippy only opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday!😊

Gairloch is an easily accessed centre from which to explore the western Highlands; it also has some very acceptable sandy beaches. There are plenty of hotels and B&Bs in Gairloch, but many are closed in winter.

Glass bottomed boat trip to see the seals highly recommended. Knowledgeable skipper who allowed some of the children to drive the boat and earn a certificate.
Gairloch Museum, in a former nuclear bunker, is really well laid out and interesting for adults and children. The café is great too, with a view from its terrace.
Don't miss Inverewe Garden, and allow several hours to walk around this surprising collection of trees & plants which really shouldn't be able to thrive here! Great views too.

The accommodation here is amazing.
The accommodation here is amazing. It has friendly staff and the most beautiful view, from the lounge room it has one of the most breath-taking views in all of Scotland.
The hostel is remote from the main town (think car / not walk), but the caravan park is close enough to walk (15 mins). We experienced an unexpected 5 star dining experience at this restaurant and ate like kings!
Everthing was good, the meal we had on the night we arrived was lovely, I had the cullen skink, unfortunately I found a bone, fortunately it was my last 2 spoonful's or I would not have been able to eat it. The breakfast made up for it the choice was incredible. Staff very polite and professional. We also stated at a sister hotel i think our yours The Dornoch Hotel, which was a disaster and expensive.
Lovely location in Gairloch, only a five minute drive from the pier for excursions. Emma was a great host with lots of breakfast options, with a lovely modern and clean room overlooking the bay. Living room was nice spot to hang out in the evening, and a few options for dinner within walking distance too. Would come again!
The breakfast was a true delight - no grease and packed full of taste. Superb facilities and staff were friendly, polite and gave the impression that they were happy to help with any query. Stunning views as well, especially if you catch a break in the weather and have a sunny day over the Gairloch!
The view, the view, and the view. A few steps and you're literally in the water, much, much closer than local hotels. We slept with the window cracked open to listen to the sea. We will be back next year for sure. Gairloch is a stunning place in its own right with everything you need.
Well, I wasn't actually accommodated at the Hotel, but farmed out to the partner accommodation at the pub, The Old Inn. The place was extremely busy and the staff seemed stressed out. Sitting in the bar was like waiting in A&E. The location was very pleasant, the parking was good.
A truly lovely and very comfortable cottage in good location with beautiful views over the bay in Gairloch, a scenic, remote spot in Scotland's north. Spotless clean with everything provided a guest can wish for. Friendly owners. A true gem and feel good place.
Very much appreciated the later check in which allowed me to make the most of the dry weather. Lovely comfortable accommodation. Very clean and cosy. Slept soundly. Has great views in good weather. Close to all the spots I wanted to photograph. Nice hosts.
Lovely decor of the hotel, keeping its original features and views from the lounges, was exceptional. Big bedrooms and bathrooms, clean throughout. The bathroom had lovely underfloor heating, plus large fluffy towels, much to my partners liking.
We appreciated the space and cleanliness of the room. The owners of this B&B are very kind (once again thanks for everything!). They think of everything. This B&B is also very close to the starting points of some interesting hikes near Gairloch.
Accommodation is very close to Gairloch port, beach and town centre. Gairloch is a really nice place and a good 'basecamp' for exploring the Western highlands. Mobile phone service at the accommodation was fairly good, as was the TV and DVD.
set in the charming town of Gairloch the hotel is right on the water. I was able to get an a beautiful hike right down on the beach that takes you into town and then walked on the roads back to the hotel. It was magnificent.
There is a restaurant/bar on-site with excellent food. Loved the outside patio near the old bridge. The staff was pleasant and we had fun with the other guests. Hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere.
Staff were very friendly and the food was very good for both dinner and breakfast. Room was just okay. Hotel was in a great location and it was a one night stop off as part of the nc500.
