Great area to stroll around with a few shops of interest to browse through. It wasn’t at all busy. The sea view from our room was fantastic and the room was very cosy. The evening meal and breakfast menus were impressive too with a good selection of food. The staff were particularly friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

We are local to the area and wanted something close in case we had to get back quickly (farmers).
The room was very comfortable but a lot of dust, on top of furniture, TV etc, the classics really.
We are hosts ourselves, so we obviously started to look deeper into the cleaning standard, just a little disappointing to what we found.

Real friendly pub making good use of the old building in a quiet backwater of Fowey with car parking. Maybe some advance advice on access by road . A small map maybe of the place . Will come again.

Very pleasantly surprised by Fowey. We stayed only for one night. Very pretty location, quaint and not too busy. We dined and stayed over at The King which was fantastic. Quite a few local shops of interest to browse through. Beautiful sea views too.

I like Cornwall and all the quaint, quirky small towns with narrow streets and steps, you can't beat the scenery and the wonderful rural lanes or the crowds of summer tourists and the summer tourist prices everywhere, especially when eating out !

Lots of character. It does get busy but never feels overcrowded.

The views are stunning and just this is me factor would tempt me back. The lounge is very comfortable with lovely recliners in the window and binoculars provided. We spent long periods just watching boats, paddle-boards, ferries, even a cruise ship. The sofas and dining area is also very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The location is excellent and Belinda, the owner, was very helpful via text. Having parking right outside, and so near to Fowey centre, is a very big bonus because parking is difficult in the town.
The rooms are very modern and stylish. The rooms with a view look right over the sea. The hotel is right in the middle of Fowey so you can walk to the pubs and restaurants. The breakfast is always good and freshly cooked. Great view for breakfast and Nikki is a great asset to the hotel. Very friendly and super knowledgeable on the history of Fowey.
I have to say we loved everything about the hotel. The staff were lovely, the view and rooms were beautiful and food fantastic. We actually decided to eat in the restaurant each time we stayed.
We loved our stay so much that we went back to the hotel 3 times during our 2 week break in Devon & Cornwall.
No dinner served on Monday evening unfortunately. They did offer Greek food from a Food truck. The outlook from the Hotel was spectacular but it was isolated requiring a trip to Fowey for an evening meal. This was a disapointment as was the fact there was no elevator.
The hotel is fab with great pools (indoor and out). The rooms are lovely and we enjoyed the spa. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great with a short walk into Fowey.
