Friendly, efficient check in. Room bright, clean and spacious. Nice hot shower. Had evening meal and breakfast, both were exceptionally lovely meals. Generous portions and tasty. Traffic from main road didn't bother us at all. Big car park, easy to get to. Value for money.

The property is lovely. Exactly what I thought it would be, if not more. I had a single room. Tiny with an en-suite but when I say tiny, it was so cute. Beautiful decor, comfortable. Perfect for just me on my own. Bed was extremely comfortable. I’m very impressed I have to say. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and so was his daughter who I met. Lovely family. Next time I come to Wellington, I’ll stay with them again.

This is a gem of a place to stay. A community pub which blends accommodation for the traveller and a local pub, seamlessly.
We chose to stay here because of wider food options for Coeliac. Food was fresh and plentiful, cooked and presented beautifully.
We were greeted warmly and cared for throughout our stay.
The village of Halse is picturesque and quiet and there are beautiful walks nearby.
