The staff was wonderful: friendly and helpful. I really liked that breakfast was until 11 (not a morning person), and they accommodated us even when we were late (we loved the full english breakfast!). The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable: firm but not hard. The inn is really in the heart of Sheringham and it felt very cosy to walk back in straight after having been windblown by the shore. Good amenities: ear plugs, biscuits, tea and coffee, hair dryer etc.
Nestled in the picturesque village of West Runton The Dormy House Hotel is a haven of exquisite service, unparalleled dining, and renowned Best Roast on the Coast.

Lovely Hotel, far nicer inside than the building leads you to believe. Stunning sea view downstairs. Really lovely staff, nothing too much trouble. We had a simple but tasty meal in the evening. Good prices for drinks and food. Bedroom and bathroom great!

Had a free complimentary room upgrade upon checking-in, which was a pleasant surprise. Room was a spacious double with a great walk-in shower in the bathroom. Had dinner in the restaurant which was also really good and seemed decent value for money.

The building was exquisite and well maintained. Our room #18 was very large and had a beautiful view of the North Sea. We had Roasted Lamb Shoulder for dinner and it was perfectly executed and delicious. We loved our two days there.

The property was in an excellent location within the countryside on the outskirts of the village. Good footpaths were next to the cottage making it convenient for walking down into Cromer and local Zoo (1/2 an hour) or in the other direction Felbrigg National Trust Estate. The cottage was spacious and comfortable.
Local villages within 2-5 miles all had good pubs and catered well.

Great location, close to footpath to walk to Cromer also runs along the coast, an easy walk.
Lovely Shepherds hut, felt spacious and very comfortable, well equipped with little kitchen, table and chairs, sofa and a really comfy bed.
Fire pit was nice treat so we could stay outside a little longer, also had a barbecue. Stacey was a lovely host, left milk and cake in the fridge for us and told us all about the area and best places to eat :)
Would stay again.
