The Horngarth, hotel in Egton

The Horngarth offers accommodation in Whitby. Whitby Abbey is 600 metres from The Horngarth,

The quality of the accommodation at the Horngarth is exceptional. Emma and Antony have really given a lot of thought to the extra touches that make a guest's stay memorable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation.

The Resolution Hotel, hotel in Egton

The Resolution Hotel offers en suite accommodation in the very heart of Whitby, just 400 metres from Whitby's stunning beach and piers.

The hotel was lovely in that it was newly refurbished. Room was lovely however there was little things that let it down. Iron poor quality, iron board stained and did not stand up straight. For a luxury suite room the choice of toiletries was poor and watered down

We stayed at Egton bridge which was a very peaceful location...

We stayed at Egton bridge which was a very peaceful location. There are 3 pubs but we only ate at the Horshoe Inn which was excellent. Handy place to stay if you want to go on the steam train at Pickering. Also a good place to walk from. Only about 8 miles from Whitby aswell if you fancy somewhere less peaceful! 😏

Overall we felt this was a nice family cottage with nicely designed and equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge. It’s location in Egton village is perfect as opposite two pubs. The TV snug room on the 3rd floor is a great feature. Off road parking for two cars at the front door a bonus. The newly fitted kitchen was well equipped and all the appliances worked well. The Wi-Fi and TV worked extremely perfectly.
