I felt the staff were all excellent and having wonderful outside space to spend early evening in was a real treat. Local pub also handy and an easy stroll through the wonderful landscape

Bed was amazingly comfortable.
Location was lovely and quiet.
Adjacent bar served delicious food - Chicken Caesar Salad.
Staff were all delightful.
Less than 10 minutes’ drive from Wisley Gardens, The Talbot Inn serves real ales and locally sourced, seasonal produce in its bar and restaurant.

Recently stayed here as we were attending a show at Wisley Gardens for 5 days and the location could not have been better - 5 minute drive! On the whole we had a reasonably good experience in this historic building, staying in a front room in the main building, with four poster, panelled walls and a fireplace. The public areas were attractively decorated and furnished and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly at breakfast and evening meals. The food was good.
Set in 9 acres of parkland, the hotel is well placed for Guildford, Woking and the M25. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel, and free parking on site.

Lovely setting in Surrey hills.
The waiter, Mo, in restaurant, extremely friendly and helpful.
Pool facilities OK, but no staff to show me where to get a towel or describe what facilities were available ( I had to ask a guest in the pool.)
