Lovely place to stay, clean room, great shower, right next door to the pub which was great for dinner! The owners were very friendly and welcoming and made us a delicious breakfast. They even drove us into Chipping Campden in the morning when we had no luck getting a taxi. Would recommend!

Not only was The Lion a wonderful location to explore the Cotswolds (and close to Stratford-upon-Avon) it was cute, quaint and so cozy. Mark (the owner) was incredibly nice and we loved our stay at his property. I can't say enough good things! He also helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. Rooms are small, but well decorated and comfortable. We had dinner at the pub and it was delicious!

Staff very helpful and friendly. Food excellent and a lovely coffee shop and patio. Parking at rear of hotel a real plus as Chipping Camden can be difficult.
All was spot on for us. We weren't able to visit the pub next door because of coronavirus so we spent time in our room and read. There is only one pub in the village so a car is needed to venture further in the evening.
We eat in at Holly House so I can't comment on other eateries.

This was a perfect area for the parts of the Cotswolds which we hadn’t visited before.
We loved Chipping Camden and Broadway and experienced great views from the top of Broadway Tower - definitely worth doing.
Sadly we didn’t get to eat in the delightful pub in Ebrington .....maybe next time!
