Stayed overnight whilst on a Business Trip into the South West. Arrived late and left early so did not have much time to enjoy the hotel. However the food was great, ordered room service which arrived quickly and the tray charge was not unreasonable (£3.95 which is cheaper than in other places). Staff friendly and the Breakfast was fine (buffet style).

Had a lovely stay at The Walnut Tree. All staff were very happy and nothing seemed to much trouble for them.
They made our stay very enjoyable.
Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice on offer.
We had evening meal on our first night, and because it was so good, we ate there again the following night, which was equally as good.
Brilliant chef and kitchen staff.
The Old Vicarage Hotel & Restaurant is one of the oldest buildings in Bridgwater, with some parts dating back to the 14th century.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Great food and plenty of choices. Room was lovely, peaceful and had all the facilities you could need. Managed to get a parking space each night of my stay , can get a bit tight when all spaces are full in the courtyard but managed easily myself. Perfect location for the course I was attending in the week and close to shops, etc and a nice walk along the river/canal. Staff were spot on and very helpful at all times, even the newer staff who were learning the trade, everyone was friendly and happy to help with anything I needed.

the room was lovely. the bed was super comfy. I'd missed dinner by half an hour and the host offered to give me her dinner. but I couldn't do that to her so she suggested a nice takeaway and let me eat it in the dining room. lots of dogs and the bar had a great atmosphere. nice real ales straight from the barrel. shower took some layers of skin off, powerful and warm. the room was just right, very spacious. just a nice place with character.
Just off junction 25 of the M5, this contemporary hotel combines good value, modern accommodation and friendly service with a convenient location for exploring Taunton and Somerset.

Very comfortable hotel with decent sized twin beds, clean, comfortable and capacious. Clean bathroom with all the basic facilities. A good sized TV etc a bonus. The breakfast area very clean, the staff kind and helpful. The choice of items typical nothing special or out of the ordinary. Great stay and will stay again and have booked for the next 2 months.
