I loved that the facilities were new, fresh and very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Just perfect- albeit we got fantastic weather!
Beautiful location, clean and cosy! Took us a minute to realise where the bed was but it was very comfortable.
Hot tub was so clean and relaxing. We honestly couldn’t fault the place!
Claire the host is wonderful at communication and checked in with us via txt to ensure all was ok. I feel they go the extra mile to ensure the stay is enjoyable

We were attending a wedding in the Wild Duck. The staff couldn’t have done any more for us, they shuttled us to and from the venue though I’d not pre-booked, they went above and beyond to make sure we’d get there and back after the wedding. On arrival back, we’d nipped into the bar for one last drink and they made us toast which was amazing!! They even put the bouquet of flowers into the fridge for us to keep overnight! Breakfast the next morning was just as good! We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend to anyone to spend a night here!

The Sperrins mountains are the best reason to stay here, though if you're doing a driving tour, you'll find so much to see! There are gentle walks too, like the River Roe country park, which is great for kids, dogs, adults or head up the hills for a more strenuous hike! Lots of history in the area to explore.

This Gatelodge is finished to a very high standard and was exceptionally comfortable. The owner was so pleasant to deal with. There were quite a few nice touches .. muffins and pure orange juice left for our breakfast. Would highly recommend this property.
