Beautiful rooms, the food is amazing with a great fish selection, the owner and staff are friendly and make you feel at home. This hotel has only been open a short while and they have everything spot on.... Exceptional! Firstly EVERY member of staff we met were warm, engaging and genuine, made us feel so welcome. Continental breakfast to die for... Beautiful smoked salmon and cheeses, to pancakes and fresh fruit galore. Immaculately clean everywhere. Cosy room, very comfortable bed with little luxury touches. Beautifully decorated/plants throughout, in keeping with this magnificent building and surrounding countryside. Will definitely be staying there again in the Spring and can highly recommend it.

The hotel was modern and inviting with lots of little extras like snacks available for purchase. We did not take advantage of the spa or adjacent sports complex but it made a nice package for a longer stay. Comfortable beds, good shower and convenient restaurant with tasty offerings.
