Though this is a very old property, it was well maintained. Kitty and Ben were always helpful and attentive to our needs and a delight to work with. English breakfast was very good and prepared as requested. If we're every in the area again we would not hesitate to stay here.

Beautiful pub garden and setting, with good food and helpful staff.
You could sit in the pub garden and have a lovely evening, but the area is like a Richard Curtis film. Malmesbury is only 20mins away, which is full of history and is quaint, scenic village. Lots of beautiful places to eat and drink.

Lovely friendly welcome and we were shown to our room which was upstairs (not expected). Bedroom characterful with ball and claw foot Bath (no separate shower). Lovely fluffy towels and nice toiletries but no bathrobes. Mixed experience of main courses in restaurant but dessert was outstanding. Would definitely stay here again especially as it’s so close to Westonbirt Arboretum.

This was our wedding anniversary break.
This was our wedding anniversary break. The campsite was peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast hamper was very nice. It was nice to have the pub on site, we ate there both nights. The showers were very temperamental. Overall a very enjoyable 2 night break.

Didmarton is a small village.
Didmarton is a small village. The only sight for sightseeing is the church which is old but also closed. Nearby is the town of Tetbury which is very attractive with a great selection of small, independent shops including antique shops and places to eat.
There are lovely walks close at hand. Highgrove is nearby as is the Beaufort estate.

Didmarton is a small cotswoldy village on the edge of the Badmington Estate. Good access roads to Bath/Cheltenham and Gloucester mean it's well positioned for wider exploring. Local estate great for walkers!
The location is beautiful and great for either work in bath or bristol as close enough to both places for ease travel in. The food was good and the staff were very accomodating. The hotel was lovely and the pub garden was nice. It clearly has alot of potential and I am glad I got the chance to stay there.
location was excellent, a very short walk from parking to the tent. Facilities were excellent and very close to the tents. Restaurant meal was excellent quality. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Best experience I have ever had from staff at ANY hotel.
Friendly staffs and vibrant of pub and restaurants. Both dinner and breakfast are delicious. Amenities provided in the room are generous. Even the hotel is road side, but it is quiet from late night till early morning.
This hotel is very comfortable, very clean and the staff are great. our dog was made very welcome. Bar food is delicious although more choice for vegetarians would be good. Rooms are spacious and clean.
