We arrived to Dove Meadow a little later than expected because of train delays. Even before this the host had contacted us to confirm arrival time and if we were wanting breakfast in the morning. Alongside recommending a taxi company to collect us from the station.
Staying in the chalet was incredible and super quiet. It has all of the amenities you could want and I can see how a family could spend a few days there. The entire property felt cosy, private and welcoming. It was also quite fun to hear sheep in the morning after traveling in from the city.
The breakfast was outstanding, it was clear that all of the items were locally sourced and the host cooked them brilliantly.
The additional service which was provided was great and the host went above and beyond to make our trip special. We would stay again for a short break.

We stayed in one of the outside brick chalets, and spent the evenings in the Inn bar and it was all very pleasant. The Inn itself is full of the charm you would expect, from it’s location in the rolling hills, and both Margaret, the landlady, and the staff were lovely and charming too. Nothing was too much trouble. We intend to return at a future date.

We visited this hotel as we were going to Alton towers and it's really close.
I have visited before and absolutely love this hotel.
All the staff are helpful and very polite. During check in I was told we had a free upgrade to the bakeell room and it was absolutely beautiful. The views outside the room were lovely and the room was large and very clean. Can't wait to visit again.

We stayed in Denstone as we had booked tickets for Alton towers. The park is about 15 mins away. We went to a fee local pubs and take aways suggested by our B&B. The views are amazing and if you like Country walks you will love Denstone. Lots of open space but close to little villages if you need supplies.
Heywood Hall is great, it's in a lovely little village, close to a pub and 15 minutes from Alton Towers. The room was lovely, impeccably clean, very well equipped kitchen and furniture wise. The welcome was lovely, the room was very comfortable and had everything I needed and more. For the price this is much more enjoyable than staying in a budget hotel in my view. Great to be able to make my own food, relax on the sofa. The bed was very comfy and the shower was great too.
I would highly recommend staying here. We had a very friendly welcome and the room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. The couple who own the B&B were really lovely we could have stayed longer listening to their stories so friendly and the personal touch made a difference from a busy Hotel. Beautiful location surrounded by fields what more could you want.
Lovely village location. Close to Alton Towers for trips to the park and waterpark over 2 days. Great facilities, artwork on the walls a nice touch for the kids. Denstone Farm shop just round the corner and Tavern pub whether you want to eat in or out. Walks and cycle path on the doorstep.
Gorgeous little bnb. Added extras to make stay super comfortable like fridge, teas, water. Breakfast was delicious and host John was a delight. 5 minutes from Alton and you can pop to a local restaurant or get delivery to your room x much better than staying in alton towers Hotel.
The owners where really friendly and accommodating. Fresh crisp comfortable bedding. Best pancakes me and my daughter ever had! Really peaceful place! Short drive to Alton Towers. Iv stayed in many bnbs and hotels. But this is by far the best one <3
We usually stay in hotels, so wasn't sure what to expect from a bed and breakfast, but we were pleasantly surprised. The location was great and John was an excellent host. He cooked a very good breakfast.
