Absolutely wonderful!!
No more than 15 minutes drive from the ferry terminal in Stornoway and in such lovely, peaceful surroundings. Ideal place for a base in which to explore the isle.
The house was immaculate and spotlessly clean. A proper home from home. Comfy beds and all got a good nights sleep.
Chris Ann, the owner of the property, was a gem.

Booked this on the day of stay, due to being geographically challenged.
Bev couldn't have been more accommodating. She guided us in (I should have read her detailed directions) opened the door and showed us around. The little touches left at the cottage made it feel like we had arrived at home from home. We feel like we really struck lucky. Bev guided us to the Borve hotel (10 min walk)for dinner and drinks, which was really nice too.

The property was immaculately prepared for our stay, the views were stunning and the ambience very restful and relaxed. Breakfast was fabulous with a great choice and their seafood sharing platter was just delicious!

We liked the feeling of staying in a blackhouse that hadn't been gentrified but was still comfortable and warm with everything you needed.
The location was great with walks immediately from the property.
Bothy is a good name for this accomodation.
A stay here is more towards camping style rather than glamping, but the lugging of water, fuel etc
has been done for you - thank you, John and Jackie.
We also liked the fact that Jackie's family had lived there for so long and that she still is part of the weaving heritage of the islands.

Although compact, it had almost anything you could need. Some really nice touches, and outstanding view.

Located in Lower Shader and only 49 km from Callanish Standing Stones, 37 South Dell provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features river views.
The location is rural and quiet. The house backs onto fields of sheep and cows. the house is set back from the road and there are a few dwellings nearby & the garden is spacious. On certain days the midge's can be quite intense! But they won't bother you if there is a stiff breeze in the air and fortunately being so close to the sea there was nearly always a wind blowing in off the Atlantic to keep them at bay. There are amenities nearby and plenty of empty beaches to explore.
