The hotel is on a major road,so easy to get to other places. Weather wasn't good but if it had been the gardens are nicely kept. Plus you can sit outside to eat/drink. There is a bar and restaurant. The receptionist who greeted us was very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a history of being a coaching inn. So the architecture is great. The room was kept clean.

Not much to be honest. The facade is lovely, but the inside needs serious updating.
The bed mattresses and duvets were all yellow, I only noticed because the room service had to change the bed style from singles to double, so she stripped the original sheets. It’s really off putting to see.
Lots of great pubs and restaurants. We ate at puddingface and it was excellent and really busy. Had breakfast at Hook Norton brewery. Well worth a visit. Free entrance and another lovely cotswold village.

The bed was comfortable. The pub attached is characterful and (obviously) sells alcohol which is (obviously) a plus. Friendly staff upon check-in and throughout the evening in the pub. Breakfast was a good bonus, and was of a good quality, although I didn't realise it was included, so had already purchased and brought my own breakfast with me which turned out to be a waste of money. The hotel is in Duns Tew, which is ideal if you need to be in Duns Tew, as I did.
