1. Great listening by the night supervisor (Spanish young lad)
2. Caring to know which room I was to reside by the same night supervisor of 27th April to help carry my load to the door as am old and breathing was a hustle

Deal is a charming, slightly decrepit town. It has some beautiful old lanes and houses. Very historic. Huge beach. Lots of coffee shops. Lots of individual interesting shops but needs investment to come to life. Shops and bars are mostly only open Thursday to Sunday. It has an abandoned feeling during the week. We really loved the fish and chips! There’s an amazing fish monger close to the town hall. It’s got a lot going for it but it’s not Salcombe or Southwold! It’s easy to get there on the train from St. Pancras station in central London. There are many holiday cottages. We saw people swimming in the sea in the morning. Cycling along the shore is popular and you can go for miles. There are things to do there. It’s got great possibilities. We really liked it.

I loved the people in this place so helpful and friendly, Recommend two cafes for a fantastic breakfast, The Kings Coffee and The Hog and Bean.
There are lots of charity shops and quirky shops to look around and a very popular bakery. On a Saturday there is a market. There is also a castle but unfortunately we didn't get round to visiting.

Very pretty seaside town; easy to explore on foot.
Very pretty seaside town; easy to explore on foot. Lots of independent shops, but there are two big supermarkets too. Lots of cafes! Interesting history very well described on clear tourist information boards along the seafront. Beware midweek in low season as most of the museums and both the castles are only open at weekends. That said, the coastal path is delightful and I spent my time (two weekdays in November) happily walking by the sea even though the attractions weren't open. Excellent public library with good local history section too.

hard to find if you didn’t get there early enough. Still has lots of lovely pubs on the front fish and chips seafood stall and lots of little shops . We felt safe walking around at night it was lovely and peaceful. Nearly forgot there’s a big church which does a lovely breakfast and looks like lovely food also for lunch and there’s a little club or pub sitting on the side of it looks like they’ve made good use of a What looks like a church and a market on a Saturday to walk around.
My husband & I recently moved to England and needed a place to stay, while we found housing, car etc. The Anne Boylne escape was the perfect choice. The room was spacious, immaculate, bed was beautifully fitted with fabulous bedding. Our bedding, towels, etc was changed often. The owners, Vivian & Barry were ever so helpful during our 14 day stay. They made sure we were comfortable and looked after us very well. Highly recommend! The Taylor’s moving from Dallas, Tx US to Hythe, Kent UK
Normally places like the Waterfront Hotel are out of my league, budget-wise but sometimes in the depths of the off-season opportunities arise and this was one of those occasions. The room was on the third floor and was basic but more than met my needs. Breakfast, served by 'bubbly' Maria, was similarly good. The hotel's name pretty much sums up its location, on the front at Deal and within a stones-throw of the pier and other features of Georgian Deal.
We like everything about The Plough. We have stayed there 4 times, and will definitely stay there again. The rooms are great, and have just been updated to a good standard. The staff are friendly, nothing too much trouble. The location is great for getting around Kent, and just a short ride into Deal. They are very Covid aware. We had an excellent, and safe holiday.
A great boutique hotel, lovely rooms and garden terrace. The staff were amazing, we had dinner in the restaurant and some of our friends had some food intolerance requests. The staff could not be more helpful and the food was delicious all round. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay for dinner. Thank you for looking after us
This is an unpretentious hotel with character, in a good location, with very friendly staff. The cost at the price point is fair. The quality of the food, both breakfast and the evening meals we had, was good. The room was fairly basic, but comfortable. It had good views of Deal’s seafront and it’s pier.
Hotel rang 4 days before stay to inform me that there was live music until 2am. By then it was too late to find another hotel. Wow was it loud ! The room shook ! Plus noise from people laughing and shouting
No way coukd we ever stay again at a weekend
Breakfast was served from 9am which was too late
We were a group of 4 ladies staying at the hotel, Location was close to the station and sea front.
rooms were spotlessly clean. bed pillows super comfy. Staff were good.
Check whats going on in the bar the weekend you stay, it could ruin your stay!
A character room with beams and sitting/dressing area at the lower price range - comfortable bed - good size and charming - hotel in a wonderful location - great sitting and bar areas and dining room overlooking the sea. Pleasant and helpful staff.
We booked the Clarendon because of its position in Deal. The manager Orla is exceptional. She could not do enough to make sure our stay was perfect. She is an absolute credit to the hotel. The rooms are very clean and extremely comfortable.
The hotel was conveniently located. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The evening bar with the "honor system" was excellent with a good variety of drink available.
Perfect little cottage for a cosy weekend away, easy to stroll into town and check out Deal.
The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a lovely fireplace, garden and bathtub. We didn't want to leave!
Excellent accommodation on the seafront at Deal. Superb breakfast and comfortable, clean rooms. The location is ideal for exploring East Kent and there are many restaurants and bars nearby including the pub itself.
Glebe House is a beautiful house in a perfect location for exploring Walmer & Deal and the beautiful coast. Great local coastal walks. Historic Deal, quaint little streets with range of independent shops.
The rooms are spacious, we arrived late after being stuck in traffic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We stayed so we were close to Dover port and this hotel was perfect for our needs.
WE had dinner at the hotel and the food was good )(not exceptional} and the breakfast was the same
The location at just a stones throw from the beach was ideal but they don't have parking
