The rooms had recently been refurbished so was very smart. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very centrally located in town. Plenty of parking, great beer selection and large beer garden behind the hotel, lots of options for cooked breakfasts.

Accommodation was dated in the bedrooms, bathrooms especially could do with some tlc, but everything worked as it should have done and was comfy and pleasant on the whole.
The breakfast was tasty although not huge selections but was enough to set you up for a day. Staff were all very friendly and polite, pub atmosphere downstairs was really nice, clearly quite popular with the locals too.

Very nice host, had my own room, shared kitchen and a big community area. Realy closed to the train Station (but quiet, didn't hear anything besides a rooster in the morning.
