Its a lovely quaint hotel at Port Appin overlooking the light house in a distance. Nice views and close to Castle Stalker too.
The breakfast was delicious. We love our well appointed room which is also large. It was warm and welcoming. The hotel was well furnished and there are many places you can lounge to enjoy the environment. We love the dinner at the restaurant too.
Barcaldine Castle in Oban provides adults-only accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge.

We both work for the airlines, and are in about 125 hotel rooms a year. There is at least one fault in each of them.
In your castle, neither of us could find any! Food, surroundings, and everything else was excellent.
It will be our first stop on our next Scotland vacation.

The apartment is in a beautiful and quiet location! The host was very responsive, and gave great recommendations for restaurants, as well as a lovely welcome spread of cakes, shortbread, teas, and fruit! The apartment itself if very clean and cozy. We felt right at home, and had a wonderful time.

The owner met us at the parking lot and helped with the luggage. We rented an apartment with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. We had everything we needed in the apartment and some food was provided as well (great bonus). There was a small fireplace in the living room.
