The room was lovely, the hotel all appears recently redecorated to a high standard. Bathtub was a good size and great power shower. Free WiFi included. Nice little village. Once they get the kitchen and bar open it will be brilliant/well worth the visit.

This was our second stay and it was just as good as we remembered. Super comfortable room with so many details and everything you could possibly need. Extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious, the homemade jams and stewed plums were especially good. Lovely touch to have a private sitting room available for guests. Great location for country walks and definitely worth trying the next door brewery.

After a very disturbed night at the Cranley, we walked along into the village looking for breakfast. We happened across The Richard Onslow and had a fabulous breakfast. Mentioning what a ghastly night we had (& didn’t elaborate at all), when I came to pay, they said it was ‘on the house’ as we’d had such a horrible experience in their lovely village ! We were absolutely touched and amazed at such a wonderful gesture. We will be staying there next time, no doubt about it. ❤️

everything was very nice in Cranleigh, good location for the wedding I was attending and really nice place to have breakfast on a sunday morning was Richard Onslow, bacon sandwich was great and the service was too. Look forward to returning again soon.
I like the location the room I had first was ok the shower dint work the guy swapped me for another room that was more at the back of the hotel , They run a band a few days a week , I was on a training course up at 5:30 Tho the music stopped but too late for midweek, if this place was to go forward maybe that should be weekend , I needed to rest Etc , So not ideal I’d say most people staying here would be for work so they may need to rethink the midweek loud music
The Richard Onslow is a gorgeous hotel/inn, with really friendly and helpful staff, a very comfortable room, and delicious breakfast! I particularly liked the fact that there were coffee bags in the room, rather than instant coffee. It was also cool to be able to see the wattle and daub in the wall, which had been made into a lovely decorative feature and gave a really great sense of the building's history.
the hotel is situated on a road that is very busy at certain times . the accommodation is a little basic but the bed was very comfy , the shower was small but good and the wifi was very good. The entire place is very clean and well kept and the price is good for this area . the owner, Paul , is a genial host and I enjoyed my stay and would stay again .
We were attending a dog show at the cranleigh show ground and the barn conversion literally backs on to the show ground. The location was perfect.
The host Pep is a really lovely lady, she was very welcoming. She also let us have a later checkout which was very much welcomed after a long day stood out on the rain the day before
Nothing went well. I booked through booking.com. There was no message from the owner so I called them the day beforehand to check and they let me know that they discontinued this rental months ago. I was then stuck and could not find anywhere to stay in Cranleigh. Thanks for nothing booking.com.
The quiet location was ideal for travelling to see family in Loxwood, Cranleigh for shopping and also not far from the sea. House was fully equipped, clean and spacious. I would stay at the Barn House again.
The staff was particularly helpful and welcoming! The room is a good size with a comfortable bed and the location of the hotel/pub is nice as there are a few restaurants and amenities close by.
Tucked away on the edge of the Surrey Hills yet a short drive or reasonable walk to the local town, shops and pubs. Quiet, safe, nature, lovely. Hosts could not do enough to help.
