Our room was comfortable, well appointed and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Overall, the Hotel is in a good, central location and staff at check in and check out were helpful and courteous.

breakfast was excellent, nicely served and good choices.
Desk help were very nice and gave good directions.
My room 232 was lovely, however, the bed mattress needs to be replaced. It's hard and slanted as if one large person has slept on it for years.

Shopping facilities are adequate, local eating premises are quite good but can be busy. Pleasant quiet village, easy access to Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket and a number of museums, stately homes and National Trust properties with a vast network of cross country paths.
