There isn’t much to see, especially during the winter… but it was alright, and it was exciting enough for a 4 day long stay. It’s quite easy to get around, though, and the bus stop is close to the hotel.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Cookstown.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Cookstown. I will be back at some stage as we did not get to see or visit everything we wanted too!!! The shops are in one long stretch each side of the road and there are plenty of shops. No matter where we had lunch or dinner it was always excellent.

Having left Cookstown 60 years ago it was a delight to return, we were so happy with the hospitality extended to us in Belfast House but the people we met. Able to chat of people and happenings of long long ago. We visited the well kept graveyards where my mother and father were buried
and went to the beautiful Drum Manor Park. There were so many things of interest, we visit the Bard of Armaghs ancient burial ground, Killymoon Castle etc. Simply a beautiful place to viist.

A very traditional/ almost old fashioned town, people very friendly. The Star Cafe, supporting people with learning difficulties, l was lovely for coffee and lunch and Villa Vinci did a great evening meal!! Central for touring the area!
Lovely hotel even though my stay was very short as I was on business. Arrived at 9.30 pm and the lady on reception was so friendly which was great after a long journey. She was also concerned I was missing breakfast due to leaving early and arranged a continental breakfast so very thoughtful. The room itself was very cosy and warm. It was spotless and the bed was so comfy. Bathroom was also very modern with a great walk in shower.
Des and Delores were amazing hosts, the renovation work at the barn was done 2 a fantastic standard. The barn was in a quiet area in the beautiful country side, there are lots of lovely scenic drives close by and it was about a 5 minute drive to Cookstown The place was very clean and I hope to stay again very soon
Best breakfast I've ever had in any B&B or hotel. Enough food for 2 people. Nice & fresh & hot.
Hotel is in a good location, as it's only a 2 minute walk to the main street.
Staff I met were very friendly. The room I had contained a massive bed, which I loved. Complimentary bottles of water was a nice touch.
The location was perfect...the staff was wonderful and accommodating. Lisa was amazing it was like we knew her forever. The breakfast was delicious and the room was clean. We enjoyed the street fair and the entertainment was spot on ..the whole visit to Cookstown was brilliant...thank you
We had just driven from Dublin where our room was tiny, old and then got to the Glenavon Hotel. It was better than the photos on the website. We had a huge room with comfy bed and good shower. Everything was clean and we had a nice view of a big river.
Clean convenient location. Close to downtown Cookstown without the noise. Good space. Air conditioning was perfect in a rare hot week. Also kitchen with some milk, juice, bread, jam and coffee stocked. Pauline was east to work with.
