The staff were warm and welcoming.
The bar and restaurant were comfortable.
The food was delicious, and the drinks were great.
The room was spacious, even with the huge bed, plenty of wardrobe space, and exceptionally clean.
The view from the restaurant at breakfast was stunning too with the autumn colours on the trees up the hill.
A large car park, which I don't think any of the hotels nearby had.

Lovely comfy room. Bathroom spacious. Lots of thoughtful extras, tissues, bathmat, iron/ironing board available. Staff wonderful; everyone was so kind and thoughtful. The food was more than excellent. My husband says he had the best steak he's had in the last 15 years!

Coalport is great for historical visits to museums and old towns and is easy to get around. Lots of lovey hiking areas not too far away. We mainly prepared our own meals in the self catering kitchen of the local YHA but there was the option of ordering food from the YHA restaurant as well as other local cafes and restaurants.

The hostel is in a great location although there is no public transport to Coalport. Lovely walks along the river and the old railway line. Property was clean, food was nice in the cafe, well equipped kitchen for self catering too.
