The view from the window was impressive. The hotel is also a bar. Patrons gather in the living room and are wonderful people. Everyone is very helpful. The breakfast is more than ample to get your day off to a good start. Also lots of options. The town is small with lots of character. It’s about a 30 minute drive into Campbelltown. And there are a lot of attractions within a 30 minute drive. Multiple dinning options within a mile. All excellent food/service.
Featuring garden views, Drumfearne Guesthouse & Tearoom in Carradale provides accommodations and a garden. There's a sun terrace and guests can access free Wifi and free private parking.

This guesthouse is an absolutely gem. Mrs. Joanna and her family clearly care very deeply about making your stay as comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable as possible. My room was incredibly comfortable, and the included breakfast was hearty and delicious. I also purchased a delicious tajine dinner on the property, which was so hearty that I did not have room for one of their exceptional desserts!
Dellwood Hotel is set on the main road into Campbeltown. Set In its own grounds and 5 minutes’ walk from the town center, the family-run Dellwood has a restaurant, bar and free WiFi.
Bellochantuy Beach enjoys a location in Bellochantuy, 9.4 miles from Mitchell's Glengyle distillery and 10 miles from Springbank Whisky Distillery.

We stayed in Ocean Vista on the site with two dogs. The caravan is a stones throw from the beach, so perfect for walking our dogs. Bellochantuy Beach is only a small caravan site so it is quiet. Perfect place to unwind. There is a hotel a minute or 2's short walk away with a bar and restaurant. Must pre book for meals. The caravan has 2 bathrooms which was great. Amazing shower. The caravan was clean, uncluttered, well equipped and comfortable. We have stayed at the site in different caravans a few times and always been happy. Good location for exploring Kintyre. The main town with all facilities is about 15 minutes drive away. Other small village stores are 5-10 minutes drive away. There are no footpaths on large sections of the main road..
Butt Lodge is a family-run Guest House set in Lochranza. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Lochranza ferry terminal is 1.2 mi away and Brodick ferry terminal is 14 mi away.

Butt Lodge is in a superb location and has a lovely homely feel as soon as you walk through the door. The hosts couldn't be more helpful, kind and informative and the cooked breakfasts and evening meals are just superb. We had 2 dogs with us who were also made welcome and it was great to walk out to stunning countryside and coastline.
Set on the banks of Loch Ranza, across from a 16th-century ruined castle, Lochranza Youth Hostel is on the Cock of Arran trail, which provides a scenic low level trek.

Outstanding place very welcoming owners on hand but far away if required. Top quality place with nothing short almost perfect. I can’t fault it. Wine and fresh bread as gifts on arrival and a roaring fire. Best place I have been for the money. Lovely shower too!!

Pretty village with lots of local walks and excellent beach. I visited in February/March, so not all facilities were open, but Ashbank, community shop and Blackbird Tearoom had everything I needed

Area is in remote peninsula (Kintyre), on the east side. Main road runs down the west, so the east side has less traffic (and twisty single track roads!). Lovely area during our out-of-season visit with very friendly locals. Restaurants, etc needed to be pre-booked due to being out of season.

Quiet location about 14 miles from the main town of Campletown. Steve is a wonderful Chef and you can eat at Carradales Guest house. There is also lots of other places to eat in the area. Main drawback is that a lot of the roads are single track.

Pretty fishing village with fabulous beaches within easy walking/short driving distance, wonderful views across to Arran, selection of places to eat and regular bus service to Campbelltown for those not using cars. Very peaceful and great for young kids with easy walks, play parks and seals to watch in the harbour.
