Fantastic food. Had cooked breakfast and Evening meal. Host gave us coffee and cake when we arrived. Joanne our host was very attentive and constantly asked if we needed anything further. Bed very comfortable and all our messages before we arrived were answered very promptly. Will recommend to anyone I know if they plan to go to this area.

We had a wonderful stay at Auchrannie! The perfect place for a break or celebration. Great location a short walk into Brodick, close to the ferry terminal and great base to explore the island from. Comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, options for restaurants and activities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough, we will definitely be back!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic and we would visit again. The country Inn for food in the evening was excellent and the staff very friendly. The only downside to the hostel was limited parking spaces.

The staff at the Craigard are exceptional. Felt very welcomed. We needed to leave before breakfast started, but the staff came in early to make sure we didn't miss out. Great views from the bedroom and from the dining room. A really pleasant stay. Thank-you!

Outstanding place very welcoming owners on hand but far away if required. Top quality place with nothing short almost perfect. I can’t fault it. Wine and fresh bread as gifts on arrival and a roaring fire. Best place I have been for the money. Lovely shower too!!

Area is in remote peninsula (Kintyre), on the east side. Main road runs down the west, so the east side has less traffic (and twisty single track roads!). Lovely area during our out-of-season visit with very friendly locals. Restaurants, etc needed to be pre-booked due to being out of season.

Quiet location about 14 miles from the main town of Campletown. Steve is a wonderful Chef and you can eat at Carradales Guest house. There is also lots of other places to eat in the area. Main drawback is that a lot of the roads are single track.
