Beautifully designed and so hospitable! Ian was super helpful with directions and parking and kindly showed us around when we got there. The B&B itself is gorgeous, they’ve clearly put a lot of thought into the design and final/personal touches which just made it 👌🏻

Service was top notch from the off. I was greeted at the door following parking. Breakfast was easy to book. Recommendations were given for food and I was extremely grateful for this as the pub I visited was incredible. Rooms are spotless and breakfast set me up for the day. Don't be put off by not having a cooked breakfast. Fruit and coffee was exceptional. Everything was spot on. Very quiet and Brad was very sociable when it mattered. The room and hotel itself is spotless and maintained to a very high standard. I was worried about parking but there was plenty of spaces. Didn't need car charging but it was offered to me and available.

The accommodation was brilliant, nice and clean and the reception staff were so helpful.
The appartment had everything you needed for a self catering holiday and liked the complementary milk, tea, coffee and juice.
With my partner being unable to walk far, and having health issues we asked for an accessible room and it was more than we had hoped for and the bathroom was a fantastic help with the grab rails and the seat in the shower.
Carnt wait for the football fixtures to see come out so we can plan our next trip.

Everything bar the owner, Jeremy. SO Bloody Rude and overstepped my personal boundaries by touching me on my arm without my permission to do so! INNAPPROPRIATE to say the least. He also withheld my refund as requested by my goodself because of the term and conditions laid out in the contract between himself, booking.com and myself. I paid £220 for one night stay at The Horn of Plenty near Tavistock. It is Amazing, however the owner, Jeremy leaves a lot less to be desired. Maybe, dear old Jeremy has to take early retirement and hand the keys to somebody more fitting
to such an establishment, maybe the under manager or the Head Chef. Respect to both of them. Hope to meet you one day. It would be an honor for us all to partake at the HoP!

Great split level self catering house. They call it an apartment but it's like a house. Bedrooms downstairs and large living space upstairs. Great swimming pool and bar area in main building.

Friendly staff and very kindly let us check in early with our luggage as we arrived by public transport.
Fantastic location within walking distance of the Tamar Inn and Calstock social club as well as the river walk, Okel Tor and Tamar trail. Close to everything but still snug and quiet. The cottage is beautifully done up and so cosy. Very comfy bed and easy relaxed feeling throughout. The views of the viaduct over the river are great from upstairs and in the garden. We hope to stay longer next time - now we know how comfy the cottage is.
great room in a secluded location. Coming from London it was ideal to escape to the quiet of Calstock and the Artist's Retreat was perfect. It was essentially an annex to the owner's house and as such they were very welcoming and helpful, but it never compromised our privacy. The room was a good size and there was a nice en suite bathroom and a whole kitchen which definitely came in handy. The fresh bread on arrival was a nice touch.
The accommodation was lovely, comfy and cosy and warm (very important in February).
The bungalow was well equipped with everything practical you could want, also books and games. There was even a complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice surprise.
It's secluded but close enough to easily visit places of interest. Calstock is within walking distance.
Loved the log burner, very welcome on chilly nights. Comfortable beds and sofa's. Full kitchen. Peaceful location and convenient free parking just 5 minutes away. Calstock has two lovely pubs (the Boot Inn food was excellent) and a lovely riverside walk to Cotehele. You can also get the train in to Plymouth from the station.
It was clean, complete and convenient. Definitely our new go to place for visiting a relative in Calstock. Mark was extremely helpful and we loved being here. Having a welcome package of local bread, butter and milk with a selection of teas and coffee and some fruit was very thoughtful.
Mark was extremely welcoming and gave us lots of information about the local area. Fresh bread, fruit, butter, tea, coffee and milk were all provided.
The accommodation was quite quirky, well-presented and very well-equipped. It was also comfortably warm.
Breakfast was a very good full breakfast. Hostess is attentive and welcoming. Quiet location albeit narrow single road (typical in Cornwall), country view (cows, sheep) from the bedroom window. good pub nearby and close to National Trust properties.
Lovely accommodation that is very well presented. Feels like the hosts have thought of everything to make the stay very pleasant. The welcome gifts were appreciated we would love to visit again.
