Homey, friendly and immaculately clean accommodations. Pat was so helpful. The driveway is a bit hard to see on the way by but the place is scenic and convenient for leaving on the ferry. Ate a great meal at the Custom House pub.

The location is great, especially for access to the ferry ports. We visited Logan Botanic Gardens, Glenwhan Gardens and Castle Kennedy which are all within a short drive from Cairnryan. We had a lovely meal at Henry's Bay House restaurant in Stranraer. Also had a nice snack from Subway in Stranraer and delicious soup with home made bread at Glenwhan Gardens.
Would avoid trying to find somewhere to eat in Stranraer town as there are few restaurants that looked appealing.

It was where we caught the ferry to Ireland and if ever going again I would definitely use Cairnryan. We used a restaurant by the name of Henry’s Bay 10 mins away and it was very nice would recommend they did a teatime special that was excellent value for money and the staff were very attentive. The route to Ayr from Cairmryan has a beautiful coast way and well worth a drive to. There were some breathtaking views.

Cairnryan sits on the side of Loch Ryan and is therefore one sided. The village is 10-15 minutes from Stranraer which has plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants. As a touring base or a stopover for the ferry Cairnryan is ideal but if you want nightlife that’s out.
We ate in Henry’s Bay House Restaurant which is very good. As for activities for young couples my wife and I are 73 and 70 years young so no advice on that. On the other side of the loch there are quite a few nice beaches within a 12 mile drive but take a picnic. As stated above touring is ideal. Portpatrick and the Mull of Galloway are well worth a visit in fine weather, as are Castle Kennedy and Logan gardens.

The whole experience was made easy by the friendliness of all. The only problem I had was it was too short. I would have liked to have been able to stay for a few days. But was unable to do so because of the nature of my travel reason.
what a find there was everything in the room equivalent to a 5 star hotel bathrobes toiletries biscuits chocolates and coffee bags!! breakfast exceptional was such a good choice including eggs Benedict hosts very friendly and helpful helping us to find restaurants why pay for 5star hotels when u can have this a third of price
Lovely place, exceptionally easy for the ferry I needed to catch the next day. Maggie is a gem and made me feel right at home immediately! The room was lovely and much larger than I had anticipated. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
The hosts were fantastic and very friendly.Made our stay in this fantastic bed & breakfast even more enjoyable would highly recommend this property to any looking to stay in Cairnryan fantastic experience and will most certainly be back
The breakfast in this lovely hotel is top of the pops ! Everything cooked to order perfectly . Paul and John are such brilliant hosts . Cheerful and they gave thought of everything that you could possibly need . Great place
Pat was very welcoming and friendly. The room was equipped with all the amenities expected of a good B&B. Access (to and from) was convenient i.e. without disturbing others. I would book Cairnryan B&B again.
Rural location, really convenient for the Cairnryan ferry terminals and just across the road from the Loch Ryan coastal path. Lovely room, beautifully presented and a breakfast cooked to order.
Owner rang local pub for us to see if open.
Close to Cairnryan - Larne ferry.
Very clean room, very friendly owner, good breakfast that kept us going until we reached our destination.
Absolutely ideal for travellers heading on the early ferries from Cairnryan. Great night's sleep, nice to relax after the journey with a well appointed kitchen and comfy sofa.
Easy access to Cairnryan port. Very friendly welcome, and cosy clean room and en-suite. What more could we ask for when traveling. Delicious Scottish cooked breakfast.
Lovely family room on the top floor. Two very large rooms with a bathroom in between. Perfect for a family and less than a 5 minute drive to the ferry.
