It's recently been refurbished, and this showed - the bed was amazingly comfy, the rooms were clean and tidy but it's also obviously well maintained. Fabulous to stay in a thatched building! Really quiet overnight, even though there's a road in front and we had a window open. Breakfast was fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Loved our stay in this lovely pub. The building is an old farmhouse and has bags of character. The staff were friendly, helpful and keen without exception. Our room was a really good size with a comfortable bed and everything we needed. We had a good evening meal in the restaurant, and an excellent breakfast next morning. The building is in the middle of a housing estate so you get no noise from the road, although there can be a bit of noise from the pub until closing time. It is about a 20 minute walk into the town centre.

the family are lovely and the facilities are clean and well maintained. you can purchase thier meats and wools, have BBQs with local coal. the breakfasts are beautiful!! it was home away from home for us and they were very sweet with my 2 year old who spent the whole week existing as a tantrum.
must forget the fairy walk, hot tub, I could go on forever. they are wonderful people and we hope to go back. Thier website shows what they have to offer at thier prices *hint
