The glamping huts had their own bathrooms, comfortable beds and were spaced out well.
I also was late to check in, however the staff left the keys for me at reception.

Keep in mind that hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you have to relay on their bar& restaurant menus , not a cheap one. The nearest shop is 8 km away in Tyndrum.
Hotel has fantastic view and plenty choices for short or long walking or hiking.

This is a lovely hotel and they have a fantastic setting for people walking the West Highland Way. From the reception staff, to the porters that I met, everybody was very friendly and polite. My room was fantastic and a great collection of tea and coffee and shortbread . Dinner was absolutely gorgeous, good selection of wines and gins! Breakfast, catered for most tastes, I would say. The Hotel was children and dog friendly and it was a lovely experience to stay there. I hope to return!

The room was welcoming and of a good size. Nice comfortable mattress and pillows and it always great to have a decent shower (powerful enough, not just a dribble at a time!). The location of the room we had was great, (we looked out towards countryside and hills) Although the hotel sits next to a very busy road.... it was blissfully quiet within the room. The staff are all very friendly and we had no problems within our stay. Lovely cooked breakfast each morning, with ample choice of menu.
My wife and I were hiking the West Highland Way and Bridge of Orchy was our 'halfway point' so I thought we'd splurge a bit. The location was exceptional and they charge accordingly as the only real option in the area. In hindsight, we should have taken the train to return to the Hillview BnB in Crainlarich we stayed at the previous night. It was a fraction of the price and just as pleasant but with more dining options in the evening.
Staff were fantastic. Hotel is very well managed. The rooms are modern, functional and well appointed. The location is great with many walking trails and great scenery nearby. The atmosphere in the bar/dining area is fantastic with all of the hikers doing the West Highland Way. The food is good and portions are generous - a great place for Scottish cuisine. Breakfast is very good.
This is easily the best hotel on the whole of the West Highland Way. We stayed in one of the new garden rooms and it was great - light flooding through the patio doors and the room well appointed. The food and drinks at the hotel were top notch and their were some great options - the Riverman’s platter being one of my favourites. The staff were lovely and extremely efficient.
the view from the dinning room was excellent and the mussels were awesome breakfast was cooked to order and poached eggs superb staff were efficient and very friendly this hotel is stop for people walking but would say if you are looking for a relaxing stop and good food you don't need to be a walker just take the car and chill
Loved the location and the hotel itself was on point. Great bath to ease the muscles from a long day on the WHW.
Breakfast and dinner was superb and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Would certainly come again and recommend the hotel to others.
The rooms were out the back of the main hotel away from the main road so were quiet and restful. They were clean and well appointed. Breakfast was in the main hotel and was very good. Staff were great.
Exceptionally quick and helpful response from Ramona at the reception desk. The restaurant service was outstanding. Food was excellent. A very comfortable and personable place to stay on WHW.
Location ideal for our purposes as a first stop touring round Scotland. Staff were really lovely and food acceptable. Very quiet despite being on the side of a main road.
The Hotel is in an exceptional position. The views were lovely. The room was very comfy. Breakfast was very good. The team member greeting us was friendly and efficient.
Hotel was very clean and tidy. Staff were excellent and polite. Breakfast and evening meal were fantastic as was the service. Dog friendly too which was a bonus for us.
Great atmosphere and right on the WHW. Resident lounge was a nice surprise, too. Great drinks and food, but the real stars are the friendly and fabulous staff!
