Having been given our room keys it was obvious they were not situated together as was requested. This was confirmed as we located the lay-out. I asked a young employee in the bar area to put me through to reception, he phoned them and advised them of my concern and as a result I was asked to go to Reception, where I was given the key to the the room right next door to my Family members. I was delighted with it, but really should not have had to request again. The warmth in the Hotel, during another cold spell, was much appreciated.

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. We had a feature room with private terrace. Didn't use because of the weather but must be nice in the summer. Great size room with fantastic free standing bath and bed was very comfortable.
Had a nice massage and Spa is adequate. Unfortunately inside Sauna was very cool and outside Jacuzzi's need an upgrade as jets not powerful at all.
Breakfast made to order was very nice and vegetarian Sausages were of a decent standard.... Really great staff and customer service.
Very limited Vegan dishes for dinner but I appreciated Chefs effort at making a special dish especially as it was my birthday.
Overall a nice stay and we would visit again.

We have stayed here before and like the larger rooms overlooking the old town square, however we have never previously eaten here. In truth the only reason we ate dinner was because the weather was so poor, however we were very pleasantly surprised; the meal was excellent. Indeed we ate at the Unruly Pig on the next night and the food here was better. The breakfast is excellent.

The host provided a high chair the next day after I asked where it was as it was listed as a facility and there wasn’t one.
