We visited the two pubs, The Jolly Sailors and The White Horse . We also bought some fresh fish from the Fish Hut which was good value and cooked lovely. The bus stop is near to the cottage and although we did not use them the buses did run to time.

Very friendly atmosphere, very polite and helpful staff, a very large Gin selection. Beautiful room very comfortable. The breakfast was extremely good . I would have liked a better choice of food for Gluten free customers it was very limited, but what was served was extremely good food . No Flannels in the bathroom???

It was just a short weekend break mainly to relax. The Ship Hotel was lovely & ideal to walk to the huge beach without having to use the car. We didn't do a lot else on this occasion, but there are plenty of places to visit nearby by car.

A picturesque part of the north Norfolk coast and a haven for walkers, birdwatchers, photographers & artists. Tasty food and drink can be found at the Jolly Sailors. Also, the Deepdale complex has an excellent café and also provides a wide range of both permanent and interesting pop-up shops.

A quite village conveniently situated on the North Norfolk coast for access to Pedlars Way and the Coastal Path for walkers and cyclists. Frequent bus service, if needed, connect Hunstanton to the west and Wells/Fakenham to the east. Further bus connections east from Wells towards Cromer. Area is well served by the restaurant/bar at The Ship in Brancaster and the excellent Jolly Sailors in Brancaster Staithe, a mile or so east. The Orange Tree restaurant has received some poor reviews.

The Ship Inn is opposite the Church and a short walk to the beach which wish the weather we had proved a fabulous place to walk. At the entrance to the beach is a small shop which sells ice cream (which we had) and other small take away food together with small beach toys for families with young children who populate the beach near the entrance but away from there it is almost deserted and a great place to walk. The Ship seems the only place to eat in Brancaster. There are other places in nearby villages along the coast but staying there, the Ship suited us in the evening.
