Beautiful location next door to Bowes Castle and opposite the church. Very cosy and wonderful use of space. Everything you could need in the kitchen and a variety of hair stylers in the dresser. Very welcoming and very friendly neighbours.
Beautiful Village, Castle was nice and the views very serene...
Beautiful Village, Castle was nice and the views very serene. Quiet and could only hear the local sheep. nice little walk around the block perfect for taking our dog for a quick walk.
Village pub was not accommodating, couldn't book or pop in due to the pub being an inn and was full every night.

especially enjoyed touring the local area.
especially enjoyed touring the local area. Barnard Castle excellent for shops. Visited 5 waterfalls despite poor weather. Principally a walking holiday with our dog but would like to return and do more cultural things - eg. Bowes Museum and Raby Castle
