No matter how grand an environment it is the attention to detail on even small things that move an experience from good to great. The preparation, the thinking and the execution by the small team made this stay great. The room was finished with charm and exceptional attention to detail in an environment giving a first impression of a rustic spot.

Perfect location! Right at the heart of Kirkcudbright and an easy walk to the river and to the rest of the town. The room was very spacious for a single. It was decorated to a high quality and immaculately clean. Breakfast, from the Full Scottish to the porridge was very generous and delicious. All of the staff I met were friendly and welcoming. The skies in that part of the world are amazing. My room was at the front and I had stunning evening sky views towards the sunset.
It a very beautiful place to visit.
Very scenic with amazing walks and lovely safe beaches such as Rockcliffe. From Rockcliffe if you walk up to Castle Point and along the coastal path to Sandyhills you will experience some breath taking view's.
