An old hunting lodge/country house about 5 miles from the main town Portree. Well furnished with classic wood panelled breakfast room and modern conservatory restaurant with extensive views over the loch. Luxurious room. Nice walk to local island with ancient ruined chapel. The food was terrific and we loved everything about the hotel
In 15 acres of private grounds, this hotel boasts spectacular views over Portree Bay to the Cuillin Mountain range. It has an award-winning restaurant and a range of whiskies on offer.
Very quiet area mainly small crofts. Nearest shops are in Portree approximately 5 miles away. The local co -op in Portree is well stocked. Unfortunately being November most of the restaurants were only open Friday to Sunday.
