Frongaer Bed And Breakfast, hotel in Benllech

Located in Llanerchymedd, in a historic building, 43 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway, Frongaer Bed And Breakfast is a bed and breakfast with a garden and shared lounge.

Pauline and Mal were lovely, very welcoming (and the dogs) . The room is very spacious and clean, 3 windows with fabulous views. The breakfast was brilliant, we had full English for 3 days and it was filling and delicious and well cooked. Breakfast in the conservatory watching pheasants and a woodpecker while eating and chatting. Pauline and Mal very willing to assist with anything to make your stay enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and stay again if in the area.

A lovely, friendly small seaside town.

A lovely, friendly small seaside town. Great for coastal walks, wonderful views. Some lovely pubs and restaurants. We loved Pebbles Bistro: great food, friendly staff, good drinks menu and very reasonable prices. Reliable and friendly bus service around the coast. We used it to travel to Red Wharf Bay vineyard one afternoon for a pre booked tour and wine tasting! Steep walk up and down to Benllech beach so if you have mobility issues you might prefer to drive down.

    Benllech is lovely.

Benllech is lovely. The beach is superb, clean, huge, dog friendly. Great cafe at the end of the beach and easy walk round to Red Wharf Bay. The town itself has lots of amenities - fish n chip shops, pubs, resturants/take aways, choice of supermarkets, chemists - everything you could possibly need. The locals are friendly. Nothing not to like!

The beach and the surrounding area was beautiful and there was plenty there for a few days. The best fish and chips we've had in along time were from Finney's. There's also a couple a small supermarkets and a few cafes and we had a couple of drinks in The Benllech which was very nice, despite some negative reviews we had seen. We will definitely be back.

Hi just a few notes with regards to our stay at Pass The Keys. The property was 5star, well appointed two bed apartment with everything you need for a comfortable break. However the booking of this property was the most stressful holiday booking I have ever had to do, resulting in me having to block and cancel my credit card due to being phished by someone who had all my details from either Pass the Keys or Booking.com. There were two slight problems that you probably need to take up with your cleaning crew. 1. There were a dirty pair of underpants and socks in the top of the wardrobe in the double room. 2. The fridge had been turned off without emptying the contents of the freezer box so that the ice lollies that had been left in the box had melted and dripped into the box and fridge. The experience of making this booking has put me off using either of the companies ever again. Regards Angela Sent from my iPad

I'd like to keep this area secret!

I'd like to keep this area secret! But can't, its a beautiful beach, I think blue flagged, golden sandy beaches, lovely water, great for relaxing, safe for swimming as never too deep. Been back there year afyer year. There are also a cafe and shop on beach front, perfectly complementary. Never overcrowded, easy to find, just enough amenities for food. A lovely cove. Top of the hill, pubs, foody shops, everything, and access to all main roads around anglesey. Perfect placed for exploring North to mid Wales.

Chose Benllech as wanted a base to explore the island.

Chose Benllech as wanted a base to explore the island. The sea view attracted me to book the apartment and didn’t disappoint. We were there to visit the various bird watching sites, all within 30 min drive or less. There’s 3 supermarkets in walking distance, not a huge choice of eating places or other independent shops but we cooked in the apartment. Beaumaris is definitely worth a drive and has lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
