Perfect for what we needed (a hotel the night before the Manchester Marathon). The room was clean and the staff were super helpful. It was great to have access to the spa, we popped in for an hour and it was lovely.
Just outside the stylish Cheshire town of Knutsford and very close to the M6 and M56, this luxury 4-star hotel is a great for exploring Manchester, Chester, Liverpool and the Northwest.

first rate staff. Breakfast a bit poor (stale criossants and expensive) otherwise really good

Altrincham is a little market town, with nice shops and plenty coffee houses and bars.
It's very pleasant in the summer. Lots of places to eat outside, plus there is an indoor market hall for eating. Great for children.
There is great transport links to get to wherever you wish. Airport, Manchester City centre ect!
Basically anywhere, there is transport to get you there.

Helpful, friendly staff and an okay buffet breakfast but the room was basic and very noisy from traffic. If you live in a quiet place remember to ask for a room away from the road. It was a COSY king room, all bed (two singles pushed together) without much space, very basic compact bathroom all looked a little tired.

Its a very nice little town with decent town centre despite there being two big supermsrkets in the middle . Good wetherspoons and lots of cafes . The Metro into Manchester is fab and easy to use . A nice feel about the streets and quite relaxed. Even the rough sleepers are posh ..

I only stsyed here because of the cheap bnb easy access by both bus and train (bus £3.80 single) from Msnchester airport when forced to find overnight accommodation. Just up the road from bnb Stamford Park was a pleasant open space.

A charming town centre, plenty of outside dinning and pubs.
A charming town centre, plenty of outside dinning and pubs. Hotel 10 mins from travel interchange, giving access to trams, rail and bus. Easy access to Manchester, Trafford Centre and Airport. Town felt safe day and night. Quite affluent area.
Easy check in, beautiful modern high quality furnishing and interior design. Large bed and kids loved the bunk room. Milk and Nespresso pods, biscuits a nice touch. Appreciated swift response from Lisa when we needed washing/cleaning supplies and a bulb replacement. Although on a main road/junction we didn’t experience any noise issues from outside or other apartments. Baby cot and high chair was provided which was really helpful. 10 min walk in to delightful Altrincham and just a 30 mins drive in to Manchester City centre.
The staff were phenomenal. They were courteous and efficient and very accommodating. The room we had was very comfortable and roomy. Excellent bed provided us with an excellent sleep.
There was a good selection for breakfast, and the food was well prepared. Nice ambiance in the restaurant and, again, excellent staff.
The location is excellent. Just a short walk to the Altrincham Interchange where you have access to all modes of transport.
We have been to Cresta Court before, and we will definitely be back.
The thing that stands out most was the great staff. Zoe and Gary at reception were exceptional. So polite and accommodating. The restaurant staff were cheerful and very courteous.
The breakfasts were tasty and well presented. The made to order omelettes were well prepared and more than adequate for a hearty breakfast
The location was perfect. Just a shortwalk to the Altrincham Interchange and tram, train and bus connections and Altrincham market.
A very nice stay when visiting Manchester.
A quiet location but only a short walk to Hale village High Street. The owner came to meet us on check in and offered us the choice of 3 rooms as we were staying for 3 weeks which was wonderful. We ended up in a separate studio apartment which was better comfortable, warm and well furnished to make it fell like a room at home rather than a clinical hotel room.
Owner didnt live on site but was easy to contact, extremely helpful and quick to respond to any requests or requirements
Fantastic stay at Ashfield this weekend. Very central for Hale, Altrincham and Bowden. Gosia could not do enough to ensure our stay was superb! We were given a parking space and late checkout upon request and were greater with a complimentary bottle of wine on the Saturday afternoon. Communication and attention to detail was outstanding! We will definitely be returning. Thanks for a great stay 👍🏻😊
Nothing. It was all dreadful. The hotel refused to reply to Booking.com and also refused to reply to me when we were seeking to cancel or change to booking due to there being no trains running on the hottest day of the year and rail companies telling passengers not to travel.
Helpful friendly reception on arrival. Hotel was very clean. Our room was a HUGE family room and the bed was very comfortable. We were facing the main road just above the entrance to the hotel and it was very noisy but wouldn't stop me coming back to this hotel.
The location was great and it was easy to get around. The staff were friendly and the hotel itself was nice (lobby, restaurant, etc.) They provided a fan for us right after we requested it which was nice. The bed was also very big and moderately comfortable.
good sized property, garden was good for the kids, off street parking (would have been a nightmare without it as was a match day and there was no off street parking available. Altrincham football ground is at the end of the road
Good stay but within a family home so not as prestine as hotel environment and not as organised but sufficient for what i needed. Cheap and host is friendly. Convenient to town centre and amenities
Breakfast very good.
For the price would have expected to have tea / coffee served.
Hotel very tired needs updating.
Bed uncomfortable. Room basic.
Staff professional but not warm.
The hotel staff are friendly and the bar area is nice and the location is close to the centre of Altrincham. We didn't eat there as we were seeing family so ate with them.
Comfortable, spacious. All mod cons!
Couple of convenience stores, 2 takeaways and a bakery on the doorstep as well as easy access to local park and Altrincham centre.
We loved our stay at Ashfield and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to stay in the area. The service was amazing very welcoming, and helpful.
