The Black Swan Inn, hotel in Allerston

We tried very hard to find something's that wasn’t perfect about this accommodation😇 but found absolutely nothing we didn’t like. Probably the cleanest place we have stayed, from the front door to the bar, restaurant, bedroom and even the toilets , decoration was spot on .our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We even had a sofa, and a mini bar. Nice touches like delicious biscuits and quality toiletries which you often don’t get in hotels these days.👍 We had an evening meal in the restaurant area, the portions were good and all food warm and freshly cooked. A step up from usual pub food, just what we like… staff were friendly and attentive, One big comment, drinks prices wee competitive, we walked into town and had a drink at a pub less than 100 metres away which charged over £2 more for the same drinks. We recommend the black swan to anyone who wants to get away and relax in comfortable surroundings.

The property was very clean, very quiet.

The property was very clean, very quiet. Very safe parking close to accommodation. Host was very helpful. Car is necessary, as not really in walking distance to local facilities. Host left little treats for us. We stayed there, so that we could be close to Thornton le Dale, which is very close by car. Accommodation is very close to the North Yorkshire Moors.
