Didn't have breakfast as stayed before and it wasn't quite as good used to be. Feel like it's changed hands.

Thanks
Staff were excellent in the bar/restaurant area, the bar/...
Staff were excellent in the bar/restaurant area, the bar/restaurant area was trimmed nicely for the Christmas period and does have a very welcoming and warm feel to it. Drinks are a bit pricy though.
The Location - Great location for bars, restaurants and the retail facilities in Alderley Edge and Wilmslow Town.
The room - Decorated to a modern style but there were some damage to painted areas which just need a touch up. The main let down was we found someone else's boxer shorts in the bin in the en-suite, toe nail clipping on the floor in the en-suite and the door to the en-suite very noisy. These are simple things that should not be seen by the 'next guest' in to a room that should be cleaned properly between guests staying.
However, we would stay again as I'd expect the owners to act on these issues if they read these reviews.

Alderley Edge is a very affluent part of cheshire known as part of the golden triangle or Wilmsow, Alderley Edge and Prestbury. Lots of footballers and famous people live here so can be seen in and around the local bars and restaurants. If you like car spotting come here as Lambo's and Ferraris are ten a penny along with every Chelsea tractor known to man. Lovely people and a great laid back vibe and must visit as well as a walk up to Edge with stunning views over the Cheshire downs.

Alderley Edge is a great place to stay for the weekend.
Alderley Edge is a great place to stay for the weekend. Cafes and restaurants are good and close to each other. It is also good base if you want to walk around the local countryside and if you want to go further afield there is a station nearby that stops at other towns and Manchester.

We stayed to go to the Cheshire game and country fair on the Sunday, so didn't have a lot of time to look locally. The Hotel was a good stop off and would use it again for a look at the closer area.

We were visiting family in the area.
We were visiting family in the area. Alderley Edge is a convenient place to stay, close to Manchester Airport and with a station in the centre, and it is surrounded by some beautiful countryside. There is a good selection of shops and restaurants, both within the village and in the countryside nearby.
There is a brilliant fish and chip shop near the hotel and an excellent independent bakery/patisserie, Weinholts, which is an institution in the high street.
Booked for one night for early flight from Manchester(4 mile drive away)was much better than staying in the airport hotels this is a great hotel with excellent bar restaurant and beer garden 10 mins walk from ardley edge which is a lovely place with nice bars! We had to leave at 3am for airport and I accidentally locked wash bag in my room and had to press button for night watchmen who was actually the guy who checked us in but was still and happy and polite will stop nowhere else when I need a airport stop over 5 star place and service
We were only in the room for a quick sleep and shower before flying out of Manchester, but the room was sweet, and the host was incredibly kind and communicative. It was close to the train station, making easy transport to the Manchester airport. The neighborhood was beautiful, and many cute little coffee shops were open early so we could get a good meal in before our fight. This room is not in Manchester proper. It was easy to navigate on the trains, but keeping the train schedule in mind is essential.
Nicely decorated hotel in the beautiful area of Alderley Edge, 15 min away from the airport by car or cab. Service was really attentive and food better than I could have expected. Surprising and delicious dishes throughout the menu at every time of the day. If you stay there, you don't need t go out for dinner anywhere else. Also, the free parking is hugely appreciated for those having a car.
Beautiful and historic old building , incredibly well restored and maintained - rooms are large and incredibly comfortable - great mix of the traditional and new with all the facilities you'd need in room - very short walk from the village where there any number of places to eat & drink , a short walk from the countryside. Excellent value , very attentive host
The hotel was Ok, The hotel was used for the day before my wedding day. After checking in, (10mins at the hotel) I left to go to the Alderley Edge Hotel (Hotel used for my wedding) to drop off my final prep. I received a £60 fine for the car park.
I was totally stressed as you can imagine, no details off car charges from the staff of the hotel
It was very clean and comfy. Right where I needed to be. All cafes and restaurant are just a minute or so walk. Owner was very helpful with information on how to get in, calling for taxi when I needed, advice on place to eat etc.
Exceptionally friendly owner and a great location for local activities. The room was really well furnished and the bed very comfortable indeed. Alderley Edge is a lovely village and really handy for local attractions.
Location perfect, property beautifully historic and characterful. Staff very caring and helpful. The bed however was very uncomfortable. The food looks perfectly plated but didn’t deliver the promised flavor.
Wonderful, friendly staff make you feel right at home. Food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. It’s modern decor in the restaurant & lounge is very appealing.
