The room was spacious, clean and warm. The bed was comfy and the shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. This was my second visit to the establishment and I will come again.

Stayed at The Bear for one night on business. Facilities were excellent and the breakfast was very good. The owner (I think) was very courteous. Would definitely recommend.

An historic village situated in a lovely valley, not too far from Llandrindod Wells. There are lovely walks in the area, and it’s close to other places of interest. Elan Valley is worth a visit, as is Rhayader. The surrounding roads are quiet enough to be able to enjoy long cycle rides. If you’re looking for lots to do this is not for you. If you want peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings you won’t be disappointed.
