Fantastic coastal town, with easy access to the Eurotunnel and ferries. We love visiting every year - so many great places to eat and the beach is wonderful. Also a great location to explore the surrounding area. For example, we visited De Panne in Belgium (about 50 minutes drive) which had a great indoor waterpark and theme park.

Wimereux has it all: beautiful walks on the beach and on...
Wimereux has it all: beautiful walks on the beach and on hills north and south, longer hiking options (beach and countryside) if you want, many restaurants and a few cute cafes and bars, the typical foodtruck with french fries, a small tourism office and many little shops.
WW2 history fans, as well as late 19th century fans, will be able to go back in time with a number of nazi bunkers still visible along the beaches and countryside, as you can see the British coast on a clear day from here.
On top of that: a bus and a train line bringing you to Boulogne-sur-Mer or Calais regularly, so you don't need a car. Hitch-hiking is also fine here, as long as you are respectful of course.

Wimereux is a lovely small town, which has retained its charm over the years. Plenty of independent shops, a very well-stocked Carrefour Express and lots of choice of restaurants. We ate at 'La Vie eat Belle' which was excellent. Wimereux is by the sea with a good promenade for walking. It is close to Boulogne-sur-Mer and easy to get to Hardelot, Le Touquet and Calais.

This is a pretty little town with a lovely long sandy beach. Outside of the main tourist season, i.e.before the French school holidays, lots of restaurants are closed, but there atre still some very good options to get a good meal.

Wimereux is a lively seaside town which feels very safe to walk round after dinner. The streets were clean and there is a good variety of independent shops and restaurants. We found a lovely cafe next to the hotel to have breakfast and a "BBQ" restaurant on the main street both were excellent. There's a lot of restaurant/bars on the seafront, great for people watching. All the people seem very friendly and willing to help.

It’s a super place been coming here many years , only snag is if don’t hit it right can’t get into seafront restaurants for lunch as they seem to stop serving at 2 and was full when we went , not sure if able to book . Summer is better as seats outside and more room .

We had a studio, on two levels (stairs). Excellent breakfast (variety!) delivered in the room on a selected time. Private access to the room from outside . Good bathroom with 2 persons double bath, and direct private access to the covered swimming pool, top!
Smiling welcome . 5 minutes from Wimereux's center, and from golf course
The staff were helpful and friendly. We are a family of 3 and really liked that the 3 person room had proper beds for all of us rather than a smaller 3rd bed, and a separated room for the 3rd person. There was a bar in the hotel and a place you could sit if you didn't want to be in your room. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.
