La Demeure d'Aglae is located in the heart of a large arboretum, which is administered by the host (Mme Adanson). We had access to the park with its beautiful and diverse trees, and enjoyed the sight from our room. Mme Adanson shared the history of her ancestors and of the Chateau with us, and we felt privileged to stay in a place with a very special aura.

A fantastic find. Conveniently located off the N7, the hotel is in a lovely quiet setting overlooking the river.
The owners are friendly and helpful eg a cup of tea and a beer and biscuits when we arrived. The bedroom is small but comfortable with a good shower and lots of hot water.
The evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast with a variety of breads, fresh orange juice, decent coffee and cereals.
