We traveled by motorcycle and they have an inner courtyard where we could park our bikes. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. Location is great, just a block from the beautiful beach. Breakfast was simple and nice. Local cheese and dried ham were also available if desired. They only had a large single bed, but offered to bring in a cot, but we decided we were men enough to sleep in the same bed. Pretty recently renovated. A great deal in the off season.

Ville di Paraso was a great pretty & non-touristy Balagne mountain village but only 15 minutes to the beach & 20 minutes to L'ile Rousse. It has a great little bar serving pizzas & a plat du jour, a small village shop & post office.
It offers some great walks & everyone was super friendly.
There are plenty of restaurants within the local area under a 20 minute drive.
