The room is amazing, very well decorated, it’s very comfortable and has everything one can possibly need (towels, a fridge, a desk, a coffee machine…). The location is also great, there’s a nice café next door and a nice bakery in the next corner, as well as a few different restaurants no more than 1-2 blocks away. The building is beautiful, an excellent mix between old and new.

Very nice room with private access on ground floor in quiet location somewhat outside the centre, thoughtfully furnished (even two umbrellas were there). Very nice bathroom, shower and patio.

Eric was a fantastic host, providing us with all of the information we needed for a seamless check-in process. He was very friendly and we felt very welcome in the apartment. The apartment was perfect for our week in Vernon and well stocked with several amenities. We didn't use the kitchen to cook as food was provided for us at the event we were attending but it would have been very easy to do so. I particularly found it very useful that there was a hairdryer in the bathroom as this saved me from bringing my own. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return when we come back to Vernon next year! Thanks! :)

A lovely town, however it was the last town before heading to Paris. Lots more to see and enjoy in this town. Musee was terrific value for money. Some great 2nd hand stores and Pamakula Restuarant was superb.

I arrived there around 10pm from long train journeys from Berlin. I’d bought a quiche Lorraine at the French crossing ( change of trains and when I arrived the hotel heated it up for me and put it on a plate with utensils so I could eat it in my room. It was really good of them to do so.

Small town with a lot of character.
Small town with a lot of character. Great market on Saturdays.
Nice shops and restaurants, but it takes a while to figure out when they will be open. You are really close to Giverny and Monets house, you can walk (1hr) or rent a cycle, or take a bus or mini train from the station.
Some nice walks along by the river as well.

Great Saturday market, lots of good bakeries and shops.
Great Saturday market, lots of good bakeries and shops. Very convenient for visiting Monet’s House and Gardens at Giverny with great bike path to get there. Train station facilitates longer excursions by bike, e.g. we took the train to Gaillon, then cycled to Chateau Gaillard at Les Andelys and back to Vernon.

If you like smaller quieter towns without the rush of the cities but still the sights and facilities then Vernon is a place to consider. As a place to stay to visit Giverny, then Vernon is it. There is one however, if you are going to Giverny and Monet's garden make sure you book well in advance and make sure you check that it is not a holiday weekend of the secular or religious variety, the French seem to have a few of these and on those days Giverny is definitely a place to avoid and you wont get in if you try as the tickets will be all gone

Vernon is a lovely town with great bars and cafes and individual shops. The town was very clean and people were lovely and very helpful, especially has my command of the French language is very limited.

The apartment appears recently redecorated, thoughtfully designed, facilities are brand-new, kitchen is well-equipped, all typical amenities are in place (tea/coffee/sugar, washing machine, iron and ironing table, WiFi, etc.). Opportunity to open windows for fresh air is a pleasant bonus not available in majority of modern air-conditioned hotels.
Great location. A short walk from the railway station and a good base for travelling to Giverny as the buses run from the station. Also a good base for discovering the historical areas of Vernon. On the ground floor of an old building, the compact apartment looks like new. Very quiet.
It was such an amazing place to stay! We enjoyed the porch to sit out and have a late dinner. The rooms were comfortable. We really enjoyed the town of Vernon and wish we would have stayed longer to explore more.
Location, balcony view, friendly and helpful English speaking host, all the facilities we needed in a quiet area within easy walking distance to all that Vernon has to offer
