Peaceful setting with great swimming pool and beautiful garden. Also very much enjoyed dinner here as restaurant closed in Saintes Sundays and Mondays. We will return for sure.

Everything was great from the reception staff who immediately offered us a ground floor room,as I have trouble with stairs, to the unusual and attractive bedroom, the views over lake with a swan, a heron and ducks, the wonderful indoor pool and the absolutely superb restaurant.

Nice bathroom, although when showering the water mostly went on the floor due to the design.
I liked the decor of the hotel, sort of shabby chic, which was fitting with the locale and being in an old interesting part of the town.
The breakfast dining room was pleasant and welcoming and the breakfast very nice.
