Great hotel, great staff, great location, would recommend to all.

Moulin de Vigonac is set in a former 16th-century watermill, cradled by the river Dronne and located in Brantôme, often named the Venice of the Dordogne region.

Location was great. The room was spacious, it had a lovely and well furnished balcony with a view of the pool. Great pool area, shame the weather didn’t match our stay. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the day of our stay (Thursday), although breakfast was great, so think we’ll return just to try the restaurant!! Great hosts, very friendly and great service.

Loved the property. Beautiful and well maintained. Our room was perfect and the owners were friendly, kind and helpful. The weather wasn’t great but would love to come back and use the pool next time as it looked gorgeous.

Such an elegant hotel. Our room and terrace were lovely, extremely comfortable and well maintained. The staff were exceptional, especially Emiline who seemed to be the unlucky one who was always available to answer all of our assorted questions about the surrounding area. She is delightful. The restaurant, Roda, was outstanding. The food and service exceptional with an elegant setting.

This 15th-century château is located in the Dordogne countryside, a 5-minute drive from Brantôme and is set on 160-hectare tree-filled park with an outdoor swimming pool.

Great hotel, great location but seems short on staff, not that it was a problem for me. Jack was brilliant and very helpful for local information and activities!

The hotel is in an excellent position by the river, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the dinner in the restaurant was superb. The food wasn’t cheap but was worth the money, delicious.

Small but comfortable, clean, quiet (apart from adjoining rooms shower etc) room and very friendly host. Lovely continental breakfast which was great value for money. Very convenient for walking into Brantôme.

Breakfast was very good. Rooms were comfortable and clean with nice big beds! Big plus was the secure storage for our bikes. Location was within walking distance of some lovely restaurants and interesting buildings.
