In August this year, I booked a week`s holiday in France at the Bed and Breakfast “Le Presbytere” in 50150 Beauficel near Vire in Normandy. The tiny village only has seven or eight houses and a beautifully maintained church. The presbytere is therefore easy to find (1place St.Pierre).
The house is run by Richard and Veronique from England in a very family-friendly style. The hotel has been carefully adapted to modern Day equirements. Each morning, the complement their extensive breakfast buffet with the fulfilment of individual wishes (fresh coffee or tea, egg dishes etc.), small talk and a lot of goods humor. Each room is decorated differently in the typical country house style and is equipped with shower, toilet, TV , double bed and internet. The floorboards are padded with thick carpets, just like British. In the afternoon, the hosts spoil you with coffee or tea in the spacious garden on request.
This accommodation is recommended for people looking for peace and quiet, as well for hikers, bikers and car tourists.

We went to Sourdeval after we left La Blanche Roche very nice place but quiet.
Hosts were lovely and provided everything we needed thinking about all the detail like little torches. Milk and tea and coffee when we arrived which was very thoughtful. A bottle of wine which we didn't drink so we left for the next guests!
Room and bathroom were lovely and clean and comfortable and we had a gorgeous view which we gazed at all night through the open door!
Breakfast was great more than ample and both hosts were very friendly and chatty and helpful.
